Bid Manager with prior defence/nuclear industry experience required for the management of Forward Action Plans (FAP), internal/external reviews and acting as the focus of coordination with MoD opposite number. The role also involves but is not limited to the following:

Ensuring accurate reporting material for senior forums, working across the business and with the customer to resolve key issues.

Support to particular individual labour forward action plans to bid the follow on contract,

Leading and setting direction, input to strategy and negotiation position, co-ordinating and driving progress, managing MoD and internal stakeholders

Initiating, analysis and content generation, planning, issue and risk management

Internal challenge

Support to Capture Strategy, Bid Planning and Learning from Experience

Central Stakeholder Management

Project and bid management as part of a PMO/BMO team is required as is stakeholder identification and engagement - at all grade levels and to a wide range of people

Some or all of the following is also required:

Exceptional skills in simplifying and communicating effectively to a wide range of people

Ability to form trusted productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Strong analytical skills

Influencing skills (including constructive challenge)

Understanding of Industry / Government procurement processes and culture, with relevant experience

Commitment to work flexibly in terms of time and location

Transformation and change experience

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance.
