SC Cleared Bid Infrastructure Architect - Bracknell

Have you got experience working in a bid environment leading, designing and implementing complex IT Infrastructure projects? If so, then this is the chance to work in very fast paced environment where you will be expected to be able to work on 10 - 20 bids at one time on multimillion-pound bids ranging between £50,000,000 - £100,000,000.

The Infrastructure Architect will be required to be involved in infrastructure design and implementation of complex bids.

This is to include the production of resource models, bill of materials and technical architecture documentation.

Makes major decisions independently, acts on own judgement and in the face of opposition is prepared to take an unpopular stance when required.

Presents complex cases in a concise, highly articulate, persuasive and engaging manner.

Encourages others to input into plans for change; allows for creativity whilst maintaining realistic proposals.

The Infrastructure Architect will need to be able to turn their hand to anything including VMware, Cloud, Storage, Automation, DevOps, Linux, Windows, Networking etc. Even if you do not have expert knowledge in the areas mentioned, they will consider someone who has worked in a bid environment and has the right mindset to learn.

Key skills:

  • Experience in a bid/pre-sales environment
  • Depth of knowledge across IT Infrastructure such as VMware, Cloud, Storage, Automation, DevOps, Linux, Windows, Networking (not all of them are essential)
  • Experience designing and implementing complex projects for customers
  • Can-do attitude and you must be always interested in continuously learning
