Bid and Commercial Officer wth aerospace experience is required to provide commercial management and guidance in the preparation of Bids & Proposals in assigned area of responsibility, including Bid Finance & Cost/Pricing activities (from Gate 1, through Gate 2, contract negotiations and Gate 3 reviews)

The role involves but is not limited to the following:

Take responsibility for the compilation and timely delivery of Customer Proposals as assigned, co-ordinating inputs from all relevant Engineering and Business stakeholders and reflecting the agreed company capture strategy.

Work with all stakeholders to prepare bid costing/pricing data for internal Gate 2 review and approval;

Liaise with Sales Operations Team to identify short-term bid effort requirements and workload priorities in conjunction with Senior Commercial Manager and Head of Commercial;

Management of Obeya board for Commercial and Bid Teams

Support the co-ordination and schedule of Gate reviews (in conjunction with Bid and Commercial Managers) to ensure the appropriate attendance and approvals in line with letter of delegation;

Maintain correct and complete records of all Gate Meetings for allocated bids to demonstrate full compliance with governance requirements

Under the supervision of the Senior Commercial Manager, prepare the commercial response for submission to customer, including relevant customer-mandated pricing forms, milestone payment plans, cash-flow profiles etc.;

Co-ordinate the completion of Gate 3 documentation (with support of relevant Commercial Manager) to ensure timely loading of contracts into Oracle;

Provide as required support to the Commercial Team during contract negotiations.

Support the activities of the company's Bid Task Force and implement recommendations as endorsed by the Steering Committee.

Essential Skills Required:
