Mission:

Our Clients team is working on key components of L2-L3 autonomous driving platform and progressively shifting focus to development of breakthrough technologies required for L4-L5 autonomy. Tomorrow self-driving cars powered by AI will combine edge and cloud compute with vast number of sensors to safely and autonomously drive customers and deliver merchandise. Our Clients company develops full-stack of technologies to enable this dream, including compute units, sensors, communication and cloud. We are seeking the best research engineers and scientists with a background in computer vision, deep learning, reinforcement learning, mapping, perception, sensor fusion, cognition and other related areas, to work as a part of our Clients team in thier Paris Research Center. You will closely work with multiple teams worldwide to grow your expertise and successfully transfer your research results into real products.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the project planning, coordination and milestone achievements
  • Able to work in one of the following fields:
    • Research and develop algorithms for perception, sensor fusion and cognition
    • Research and develop algorithms for mapping, localization and simulation
    • Research and develop algorithms for imitation, reinforcement and self-learning
  • Implement Code in Python & C++
  • Apply or use existing libraries for deep learning and machine learning in project related tasks
  • Develop and implement novel approaches and breakthrough technologies
  • Code and algorithm documentation
  • Project reporting and planning
  • Writing of scientific publications and participation in conferences

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding of deep learning technologies and up-to-date knowledge of SOTA (CVPR, ECCV, NIPS, etc...). Experience with computer vision is a must
  • Real-world experience building and deploying machine learning models is a must Experience
  • Dveloping and deploying systems based on deep learning is a big plus
  • Ph.D. degree in informatics, computer vision, machine learning, or related area is a big plus
  • More than 3 years of experience in relevant fields is a big plus
  • Experience in training or fine-tuning of SOTA models like YoloV3, Mask-RCNN, pix2pix, CycleGAN, ResNet, VGG, DeepSORT, MV3D, PWC-Net, DeepLabV3+, PSPNet, ResNeXt-FPN, etc. is a big plus
  • Good experience in machine learning, multiple view geometry is a plus
  • Experience in common deep learning software libraries like PyTorch, Tensorflow, Caffe2, etc.
  • Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python
  • Experience in HPC, Hadoop and cloud compute is a big plus
  • Experience in databases and distributed storage is a big plus
  • Programming skills in CUDA/OpenCL is a plus
  • Good knowledge in ROS, OpenCV, Boost, multi-threading, CMake, Make and Linux systems
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
