An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Project Manager to join our prestigious Client fulfilling the duties below:
Provide support to the Head of Test Engineering and Manufacturing Test Development (MTD) Team to define, plan, direct and deliver manufacturing test solutions, against business plan targets through rigorous cost control and schedule adherence.
Manage stakeholder interfaces including internal customers and ensure accurate reporting of progress against all aspects of project performance.
Planning, facilitating and providing support to the success of manufacturing test development programmes.
Developing and maintaining key relationships with internal customers and key subcontractors.
Ensuring accurate reporting of progress against all aspects of project performance and interpreting requirements back to the MTD team.
Communicating consolidated project/programme requirements to a multi-disciplined team to safeguard deliveries.
Planning of technical requirements to provide schedules of work that can be easily understood by the wider business.
Role requirements (skills, training and qualifications)
Experienced in Technical Project Management with a proven track record in the delivery of fixed cost engineering programmes, of significant value, within a matrix organisation.
Experience within a test engineering and manufacturing environment would be of preference.
A natural communicator, able to build strong relationships, with experience in driving engineering teams and delivering to tight time-scales.
Experience with AGILE development of test software would be beneficial.
Enthusiastic, pro-active and tenacious individual who can prioritise and understand strategic business needs as well as managing the day-to-day tactical decisions.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be eligible for Security Clearance.
