Our client is an integrated facilities management services who provide the solutions, support, and facilities management services. They are currently looking for a Mobile Assistant Facilities Manager covering Heaton Works, Hebburn, Monkton & Durham sites starting ASAP until 30th August.
Job Purpose:
To assist the Facilities Manager in the operation of all services on site in line with the contract requirements and offer day to day client facilities management support.
Manage resources and promote an ethos of team work and to instill a culture of continuous improvement.
To offer support and guidance to ensure that workflow is delivered effectively and to develop the team so that they achieve their full potential.
To develop a relationships built on trust and transparency with client and customers
Principle Accountabilities:
Support the FM & Regional FM to effectively co-ordinate service delivery across the whole of the scope of FM service delivery and advise senior management of any perceived risks and mitigation actions
To ensure active promotion and compliance with Siemens and UK H&S policies and procedures
Builds organisational capacity, responsible for the delivery of the service and maintenance of all assets under contract in the portfolio. operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided are continually improved and exceed customer expectations
Responsible for efficiently and economically implementing the assigned tasks from commencement to completion in full compliance to applicable standards and specifications, within the given time frame, including monitoring and regular reporting of overall progress.
Evaluate data and operational performance stats on a monthly basis, ensuring a documented action plan is implemented for any out of line situations.
Relationship management - client, customer, supplier - encourage One Team ethos. Ensure that a culture of Team Working, Task Ownership and Flexible Working is actively encouraged and implemented across the site(s)
Customer satisfaction is to be maintained at the highest level by providing a high quality and pro-active service.
Carry out site inspections to ensure an excellent standard of work and timely completion. Dealing with any shortfalls in service delivery in a timely manner through effective coaching and mentoring and ultimately if necessary through performance management mechanisms available.
To manage resource levels and service delivery to meet fluctuating workloads ensuring a consistent approach to service delivery on sites.
Provide reports as required to include people, client, health and safety and finance information as required
People management - line management of staff and through mentoring, developing, coaching and appraising.
Siemens business continuity to be maintained at all times
Supply Chain Management - ensure value for money is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance. Ensure that any procurement activity is within strict compliance to company procedures
Risk management - minimise risk and maintain or improve profitability against agreed targets
To manage the business and ensure that meets its full contractual obligations whilst at the same time supporting the management of the account P&L

Person Specification

Relevant Further/Higher Education
Relevant professional qualification/experience within an FM corporate environment
Proven track record of operations management in a FM environment
Experienced people manager. Have good leadership, team building and communication skills
Good interpersonal and customer relationships
Experience in supplier management
Experienced at managing budgets
Hold a valid driving licence and has own car for mobile role
Recognised HSSE qualification ( IOSH,NEBOSH)
Presentation and communication skills
Excellent IT Skills
Temp cover for Long Term Sick
Mobile role therefore must have driving license and own car, mileage costs to be paid. Local travel only in the Newcastle area.
