We are currently recruiting for an Asset Manager (Buildings) to work on a Contract across various London locations (mainly St.James's Park and Stratford)

The Main day to day Activities of the Asset Manager (Buildings) will be as follows:

  • Implement and articulate the strategy and plan required for asset management in line with industry best practice and PAS 55/ISO 55000
  • Ensure asset management information supports a whole life cycle approach enabling statutory compliance, sustainable operation, performance reporting -commercial and technical, reliability centred maintenance, root cause analysis and building disposal and delivers best value
  • Produce, update and own a set of documents to enable, manage and govern the asset management process and life cycle
  • Own, operate and control systems for asset change management for both internal staff and contractors, and to make sure systems for change revisions, additions and omissions are captured, documented and universally understood
  • Develop, plan, update and maintain the 10 year forward replacement plan, the Building Maintenance Programme, maintaining a schedule of prioritised projects for building services, fabric and infrastructure updated

The Skills and Experience expected of the Asset Manager (Buildings) will be as follows:

  • HNC or degree educated in a relevant technical or engineering field
  • Chartered Member (or willing to work towards) of a relevant professional institution such the IAM, CIBSE, IET
  • Demonstrable knowledge of formal problem solving and business process improvement approaches such as Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proven experience of asset data quality management, life cycle management and relevant qualifications of asset or inventory management in a relevant field such as facilities management, engineering or manufacturing
  • Program and project management experience including risk assessment, multi-disciplinary project delivery to commissioning including use of MS Project and/or Primavera experience
  • Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) familiarity and use of asset management and planning systems and databases
  • Experience of delivering programmes and outcomes across varying technical disciplines to deadline and budget

This role is working in the public sector and therefore must be set up on a PAYE or Umbrella basis. No limited companies are permitted.
