Asset Management Analyst

Duration: 12 months

Location: Edinburgh or Dunfermline

Seeking a positive, self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills to join a busy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-profile asset risk profiles for a utilities company. These profiles will inform pipeline management plans to promote prioritised capital and operational maintenance programmes as well as risk mitigation and performance enhancement interventions.

The key responsibilities of the Asset Management Analyst include:
Following a well-defined rule base to determine which trunk main assets should be assessed by our field surveyors,

Geospatial desktop analysis of data collected during the survey to generate risk profiles,

Preparation of data for inclusion in corporate systems,

Support the team to undertake root cause analysis of major burst events,

Liaison with key stakeholders

Production of service impact timelines including analysis of network storage and hydraulic attributes,

Support the team to research and develop signature solutions to reduce asset risk, increase resilience and enhance performance.

Previous experience with GIS software (ArcGIS is preferred) and MS Office products, including Visio, is essential. Experience with Python would be beneficial.
