We have an excellent opportunity for an ASSET INFORMATION MANAGER based either here in Cumbria or in Warrington - within the Nuclear Industry.
The role holder will be custodian of the asset information systems, management process and associated governance arrangements.
They will be responsible for creating Asset Information Strategies and Plans detailing storage, specification, management maintenance and analysis of data and information held on Company assets covering a 1-25 year period.
The successful Candidate will:
Engage with senior stakeholders to create, integrate and implement the Asset Information Strategy and associated policies to ensure the direction of Asset Information Management is aligned with the business vision over a 1-25 year timeframe
Create and own the processes and procedures associated to Asset Information Management including updating documentation ensuring the processes are fit for purposes and embedding the processes around the Sorganisation
Own and produce the Asset Information Care Plan detailing the activities required to manage the asset information lifecycle activities over a 1-25 year timeframe.
Be custodian of and maintain the Company asset register(s) to ensure the data and information stored is available for the business to use, such that it can make informed decisions in regard to maintenance, spares, capability and delivery needs to drive budget allocation and priorities.
Proactively manage the end to end asset lifecycle of asset data and information assets held on Company assets including quality assessments and maintenance activity.
Ensure that all assets, Company and non Company owned, have the applicable data specifications to capture all required details including core asset data, financials, safety features, spares, maintenance and risk
Maintain a working understanding of the interface requirements between CMMS and asset information visualisation systems
Be able to upload large data imports and perform integrity checks on the quality of the data
Subject Matter Expert for asset data, information and information systems
Establish and lead the forums and meetings required to ensure that the Asset Information Management process is governed and monitored closely
Be responsible for managing an asset reference plan for critical assets/systems
Ensure all Asset Information Management processes and governance is aligned to all Company and site regulations including correct management of all documentation associated with their area(s) of responsibility
Superuser and the primary contact point for initial user support and advice on the asset information systems
Manage teams of internal or contract resources to undertake data collection and validation exercises to improve Company data quality
Decision making within technical discipline on analysis approach
Works with no direct supervision
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrate working knowledge of the Asset Management Process, best practice and standards e.g. ISO550001
Demonstrate working knowledge of key asset information artefacts
Asset information strategy
Asset information business cases and asset information system requirements
Asset information standards and guidance and asset data dictionary
Data quality definitions and guidelines
Data management procedures and data governance procedures
Data assurance and Audit reports
Asset condition and remaining asset life assessment
Remote condition monitoring data collection, storage and
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Demonstrate capability in data visualisation and interpretation
Experienced in the use and administration of computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Provide evidence of having initiative and ability to plan and direct own work and work independently
Ability to demonstrate conservative decision making, even in pressure situations
Ability to communicate key information both verbal and written with customers, suppliers and stakeholders
Degree Qualified
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of stated qualifications
