Our respected client is currently in need of an Electrical Assembler to be based at their manufacturing facility in Preston. They are specialists in waste management machinery responsible for the manufacture, after sales maintenance and leasing of a wide variety of containers and machines.

Duties:
Wire control panels, junction boxes and motors from circuit diagrams and panel layouts provided.

Terminate and secure external cabling to the correct points in the control panel.

Electrical/mechanical installation of enclosures, electric and hydraulic components.

Ensure electrical build quality is of the highest possible standard.

Assist other members of the assembly team as necessary.

Details & Benefits

Candidates should be aware that, on occasion, working outside of normal hours and site work will be required.

Normal working hours: Mon-Thurs - 8am-4.30pm & Fri - 8am-2.30pm

Holiday entitlement - 21 days in the first full year of employment and rising to a maximum of 25 days per year in increments of one day for each full year of service. *Please note the company closes for the Christmas period and therefore the employee is required to save holidays to cover this period (usually 3-4 days)*

Auto-enrolment pension scheme, which the employee will be automatically enrolled after three months employment.

Attendance bonus £75 per year - payable to employee's who have 100% attendance. This paid 50% January & 50% July (This will not be paid to anyone within their probationary period)
