Our Client a leading Energy Company are currently recruiting for an Analyst on a contract basis based in Liverpool.

Description

As an Analyst, you will cover a range of project-based activities including finance tracking, devising and leading new business processes, management reporting, procurement liaison, documentation management and customer liaison. You will also undertake coaching and mentoring of staff in use of corporate systems and provide detailed IT applications support.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide comprehensive analysis of all financial (operating costs and capex) performance with specific responsibility for the following:

  • Responsibility for customer service processes
  • Responsibility for HR processes
  • To provide accurate and timely Management information on behalf of the Commercial & Performance Department
  • Proactively drive and support Project Managers
  • Ensure timely project closure
  • Ensure tight control of costs
  • Continually drive down overall WIP
  • To facilitate Availability Control within SAP to allow the business to effectively manage delivery
  • Financial tracking & reporting
  • Active participation in the introduction of new IT applications, new business processes including testing, transfer of data training of staff and ongoing support

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Expert knowledge of corporate IT systems
  • Working knowledge of relevant quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Developed communication skills with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to devise solutions to problems or challenges
  • Developed analytical skills to be able to assess and manipulate data to

produce clear reports and advice as appropriate

  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Developed Customer Service skills
  • Strong business process focus

MINIMUM CRITERIA

  • Fully Competent in the use of Microsoft (Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
  • Fully Competent in SAP Financials
  • Experience of financial reporting within a regulated environment
