As a Senior Airworthiness Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering Airworthiness flight limitation and flight certification documents used to support development of fast jet aircraft operation, and for reviewing and endorsing system and aircraft level clearances for production aircraft.

You will prepare and maintain the Airworthiness flight limitation and flight certification documents used to support development of fast jet aircraft operation, and be responsible for reviewing and endorsing system and aircraft level clearances for production aircraft. All documentation surrendered as evidence in support of Flight Certification needs to be complete, correct, fit for purpose and allows for a clear audit trail to be established and maintained.

Provision of these Airworthiness deliverables is required to demonstrate compliance with Regulatory requirements to enable flight test, delivery of aircraft to the Customer, and to provide the Customer with the necessary clearances so they can operate the aircraft safely in the intended operational environment.

In order to generate these Airworthiness deliverables, you will have to understand how particular aircraft systems work and interact with other systems, such that you can review individual system clearances and understand how these integrate together to determine pilot-observable system and aircraft limitations.

You will be responsible for ensuring all documentation surrendered as evidence in support of Flight Certification is complete, correct, fit for purpose and allows for a clear audit trail to be established and maintained You will monitor the evolving design of the aircraft, systems and associated services, and will provide the aircraft programme advice in respect of Airworthiness.
