The Aircraft Records Manager is required to lead and manage a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, for the purpose of developing and delivering all Aircraft Records (both hard-copy and electronic) at strategic and tactical levels, whilst maximising operational efficiency and minimising costs.
The post holder will provide effective leadership for the development, management and delivery of all Aircraft/ Off Aircraft Records activities
Manage the development Production and Publication of performance indicators required to demonstrate Configuration, Quality and Integrity of Continuing Airworthiness records. This includes the Manage the development and update of all Continuing Airworthiness Records, including the input of aircraft technical log data (hours, cycles, ) into the relevant record and maintenance system
Manage the delivery of the necessary reconciliation activities required to ensure the configuration, quality and integrity of the Continuing Airworthiness Records is maintained
At a strategic level, manage the provision of information from the Continuing Airworthiness Records and the interface with Maintenance Tasking & Verification, Part 145 organisation(s), Fleet Planning, Reliability programmes and all other key stakeholders, in order to deliver the required standards of continuing airworthiness and contract delivery
Lead and develop the effectiveness of Continuing Airworthiness Records completion and management processes, including feedback to Part M and Part 145 organisation and Suppliers across all responsible maintenance locations. Ensure escalated issues, including any identified by the Airworthiness review process are assessed and effective solutions are implemented into the Continuing Airworthiness Records activities.
Manage the delivery of advice and assistance on modification/configuration status- demonstrate Configuration, Quality and Integrity of Continuing Airworthiness records. This includes the Manage the development and update of all Continuing Airworthiness Records, including the input of aircraft technical log data (hours, cycles) into the relevant record and maintenance system
Ensure all Continuing Airworthiness Records activities are appropriately documented and the appropriate Aircraft/ Off Aircraft Records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Ensure suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel perform all Continuing Airworthiness Records activities. Lead the integration of Continuing Airworthiness Records activity within the business and in particular, the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process
