The Role

We are seeking ALSE Technicians to assist in the establishment and support of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Pilot Training System (PTS) Fleet of PC-21 aircraft at RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA.

Responsibilities

Flight servicing and repairs to life support equipment including flight jacks, G suits, helmets and masks.
Schedule servicing's, incorporate service bulletin and technical directives to aircrew equipment, Personal Survival Packs (PSP) and personal radio.
Manage Support & Test Equipment (S&TE) and tool calibrations.
Explosive Ordnance (EO) storage and handling including mandated stock taking in accordance with Commonwealth instructions.
Manage spares and replacement items.

Skills and Experience

Cert III in Aircraft Life Support and Furnishing or equivalent qualifications.
Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
Have a strong customer focus.
Previous Defence experience will be highly regarded.
Familiar with electronic maintenance management systems is advantageous.

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

Hold or be able to attain an ADF Security clearance.
Hold or be able to attain Working with Children clearance.
