Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the timely delivery of parts to agreed customer delivery
dates and specifications in line with lean tools or CI plans.
Responsible for complying with company and customer procedures including work instructions and
guides as detailed in the Quality Management System.
Responsible for programming for CMM inspection of parts in line with the aircraft drawings/models.
Responsible for providing support and information to internal and external customers to ensure
product acceptance from supply chain or reissue.
Responsible for carrying out inspections using conventional hand check methods and recording of
data in line with aircraft drawing/models to first article requirements.
Responsible for conducting inspections using co-ordinate measuring machine and analysing results
to reach a decision on the validity of the part to enable it to progress in a timely way to next stage of
Run product and save results using PCDMIS software
Interrogate results and create reports for non-conformance reports
The use of conventional measuring equipment and the ability to read and understand aircraft drawings
A wide knowledge and experience of metrology, techniques and measuring equipment
Sound working knowledge of quality procedures
