Morson are proud to own the interim recruitment process on behalf of Manchester Airports group.
Manchester Airports Group (MAG) is the largest UK-owned airport operator, serving around 52 million passengers every year through its ownership and operation of Manchester, London Stansted & East Midlands.
Each airport has previously operated independently, with its own systems, policies and procedures. There is a desire for all airports to work collaboratively and as a result SAP success factors was implemented a couple of years ago and so all our colleagues are paid and managed through the same HR system. MAG now need to undertake further transformational work in the HR function, and this role is critical to the overall success of that transformation. This will include a review of systems, policies and processes and at the same time look at how we can use technology as a real enabler. This role will be key in challenging how and why we do things and will really focus us on being more efficient and more value adding as a function.
This role will have the opportunity to influence standards, principles and ways of working. The role holder must be confident and experienced in working with non-technical business stakeholders to elaborate their vision into clear business requirement user stories, and to prioritise those to allow incremental delivery. All outputs are expected to be to a high quality, following industry best practice.
The role holder will work directly with the transformation team in a Scrum Master capacity to deliver work within sprints and via a Kanban model for BAU work. Managing and leading the various scrum ceremonies and driving best practice and continuous improvement in these areas is integral to this role as is planning and managing the overall project delivery plan.
