We are looking for an experienced ADMINISTRATOR to be Sellafield based.

The successful Candidate will report to the Deputy Project Director and will be required to undertake all administrative work on behalf of both internal and external customers, which include Managers / Engineers.

The tasks will also include any project typing, copying, along with other administrative activities requested by your line manager as and when required.

The role will support the team's transition from Daresbury to Sellafield.


Qualified to GCSE level in a minimum of English, and/or NVQ Level 2 in Administration.

RSA II and / or III in Typing/Word Processing.

Minimum of 12 months experience of administration.

The job holder must have excellent communication skills and be competent in word processing, spreadsheets.

Trained in use of Microsoft Office & switchboard for cover purposes.

To have worked within an Administration department for at least 12 months.

To be able to deal with people and situations in a tactful, diplomatic and confidential manner.

Shorthand desirable but not essential.

Full, clean Driving License required.


Providing administrative support and diary management to the senior management team as required.

Supports the Construction Administrator as required.

Coordinates travel arrangements as required.

Utilises Microsoft Office skills to support the management team in the preparation of high-quality documents including powerpoint presentations, charts and reports.

Engages with the contractors control room, sending out site updates to the team and responding to the monthly requests

Develops and maintain relations with individuals/organisations at all levels internal and external to the company.

Plans and prioritises workload effectively.

Promotes a safe working environment/good housekeeping of the working area.

Arranging internal/external meetings, booking rooms, taking minutes and distributing accordingly.

Monitoring & ordering general office supplies i.e. stationery and consumable for printers /copiers etc..

To arrange visitor access at site, film badging & PPE.

To pick up/drop off site visitors using the company pool car.

Assists and provides cover for other members of the Administration Team where required.
