An opportunity has arisen within BAE Systems within their Central Finance team for an Administrator. In this role you would be interacting with the Financial Controller and his first line team, the wider finance team in central function and those across the programmes, as well as having exposure to the Finance Director and his first line team. This is an exciting role in a very fast paced, dynamic space where you will become a key member of the team and wider function. The central finance function is a fast paced and dynamic environment that works to strict deadlines and timescales. Flexibility is a must given the functions alignment to key activities in the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting calendar.

The purpose of the role is to provide pro- active administrative support primarily to the Financial Controller and supporting his first line reporting team within the central finance function. The role requires a self-starter who will pro-actively work with the Financial Controller managing his calendar booking travel processing expenses and assisting the FC with ad hoc tasks as required. Confident communication is key to enable proficient liaison with the other functions across the business.

As an Administrator you will be a good team player with a willingness to support other colleagues.
You will be proficient user of Microsoft office suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. and have the ability to manage challenging and conflicting priorities. You will be able to appropriately deal with sensitive, confidential and privileged information. Excellent attention to detail is required and you will need to be comfortable with acting independently and prioritising your workload as required.

Prior knowledge of the BAE Systems business tools and processes would be an advantage.
