Our client, a large utilities company in Edinburgh are looking for an Administrator to work within their finance / billing team to start ASAP in a contract role, initially for 9 months but may be extended.
Candidates must have experience in both, working in a billing / finance environment & someone with a strong customer service background.
Liaising with customers in terms of their meter supply / taking readings etc
Preparing / Issuing Bills and Invoices to the customers within tight deadlines
Investigating disputes/ queries by liaising with the customer and various internal teams
Assisting with queries via telephone an email
Experience of dealing with customers
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Numerate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and problem solving skills
