Administrator; Based in Reading; 5 month contract; £13.00 per hour; 37 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an administrator to support a team of circa 100 engineers. The role will deliver an administrative support service making sure that agreed business procedures, processes, standards and deadlines are implemented and controlled.
A great degree of professionalism and confidentiality will be required in this role.
Key responsibilities
General Department Interface for employees and visitors
General and local point of contact for advice and support
Arranging travel and accommodation through the Company's travel agent
Meeting and greeting of visitors and customers at all levels of seniority, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place and runs smoothly
Managing and prioritising general correspondence
Organising and co-ordinate meetings and events ensuring all the relevant preparatory material is provided
Maintain office systems, including data management
In conjunction with other PAs provide cover for annual leave and short term absence as and when required

Technical & Professional Skills
Previous administration / secretarial experience gained supporting a large team
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent IT skills - particularly MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
Exceptionally strong organisational & planning skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Must be comfortable in dealing with people at all levels of the business
Analytical, accurate and articulate
Able to work on own initiative and have the flexibility to cope with strict / demanding deadlines
Professional approach
Highly organised with keen attention to detail
Good time management skills; Customer service orientated
Proven Problem-solving skills.
Can identify opportunities for improvement to effectiveness and efficiency of processes
Demonstrated Organisational and Time management skills.
Work experience is more important than qualifications
Experience of working with managers and multi-disciplined teams
Previous experience of working in an international environment is desirable
Experience of working within a large international business is desirable
