Job Title: Administrator
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 37 per week
Pay: £9.00 PAYE
Our client in Portsmouth is recruiting for an experienced Administrator to support their Lifting Cell operation within the Crane Office at the Naval Base.
This role will be responsible for monitoring and actioning all requests for Lifting Services in a timely manner, liaising with the Appointed Person and Crane Planner/Lifting Managers.
You will support the Lifting Services Manager and the wider team with all day to day administrative tasks as well as covering for the Crane Planner during period of absence. You will also be responsible for maintaining staff training records, booking training courses and notifying Lifting Managers.
Skills and Experience
*Previous experience in a similar administrative role
*Ability to work as part of a robust team, whilst also able to work equally well alone to complete tasks.
*Excellent IT skills with experience of generating reports and the ability to learn new systems quickly
*High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
*Excellent customer service skills
*Work well under pressure, being flexible and able to prioritise workload.
*Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
*Experience in a Lifting Cell/Crane environment is desirable
