An Accounts Payable Assistant is required to work within a Finance team during a period of on-going change. The company continues to undergo considerable growth and this role is required to support the team in continuing to develop internal processes following the implementation of a new ERP system alongside a base role of accounts payable.
The role involves support accounts payable with day to day activities including inputting supplier invoices, communications within the business to enable receipting of goods and services, answering supplier queries and other ad hoc duties. The jobholder will support the finance team in re-development of internal tools and master data improvement following the migration across to a new ERP. You will assist with a variety of day to day activities within the finance team as required; this may include time sheeting, National Statistics Forms, management reporting, data analysis, R&D tax support, KPI reporting.
The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills and excellent communication skills. You will be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines. Trustworthiness and respect for confidential information is essential as is the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. High levels of accuracy and excellent analytical skills are required to ensure all data is recorded correctly within the ERP system. You will have the ability to present information at varying levels of detail, aimed appropriately depending on the level of the audience and be able to manage projects from start through to completion. An understanding of ERP systems would be an advantage. You mays also be asked to support the development of the future management reporting.

Due to the nature of our work and the projects you will be working on, all candidates must be eligible to gain security clearance.
The role is a 6 month contract based in Winfrith.
