The Role

We are currently seeking an Accounts Apprentice to join our Finance department at our Head Office.


Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Sales ledger reconciliations for foreign currency ledgers
  • Downloading credit card statements, converting to Pdf and issuing to card holders
  • Reviewing back up for sales invoices and providing additional information to assist accounts process
  • Use of the system to allocate costs to clients
  • Filing
  • Use of excel to format and distribute reports
  • Opening and distributing post
  • Printing various reports
  • Ad hoc duties

As the role develops, there may be scope for this to include exposure to Purchase Ledger.

The Apprenticeship will include day release at college to study AAT Level 2.

Experience and Skills

It is essential that the candidate has worked in an office administrative role and is accustomed to high volume data entry and has excellent interpersonal skills.

Intermediate excel is essential as is excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
