A great opportunity has risen with my Client, a leading Building and Civil Engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead for an Accounts Administrator/Purchase Ledger.

a) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator (AP) include, but are not limited to:


* To ensure all purchase invoices and credit notes are accurately processed in a timely manner following system and accounts payable processes
* To reconcile key supplier statements on a monthly basis
* To liaise with other departments and suppliers to resolve any invoicing queries in a professional and timely manner;
* Daily collection and opening of post;
* To ensure all Aged Payable documents are filed in a timely manner;
* Being a positive role model for how we should all live the company's Vision and Values; and
* Other ad-hoc projects as required assisting Finance and other departments.

INTERNAL
* Peers at all levels within the Finance, Treasury and Payroll Teams
* Senior Executive team and Managing Directors
* Site based and Business wide personnel


EXTERNAL
* Suppliers

* Experience of working in the construction sector
* Knowledge and experience of working with Finance systems

* Educated to a minimum GCSE standard (including Maths)
