Accounts Payable Administrator

We are looking for Accounts Payable Administrator to join our client on initially a 9 month contract whit potential to go into a permanent role.

Responsibilities will include administrative support to the Payable Manager, collating large amounts of data and ensuring that data is recorded and stored accurately.

Candidates will need proven experience in payroll administration, basic skills in the use of ICT, especially Microsoft Excel and a willingness to embrace new challenges. Previous accounts payable experience would be desirable.

Contributing to any improvements and changes as may be necessary Meet cyclical financial deadlines.
This involves meeting month end deadlines to ensure all costs are posted correctly to ledgers at month end and year end.

The job holder must demonstrate communication skills in order to convey the importance of our procedures and the rationale behind them.

Resolve queries from customers and suppliers
This involves communicating with other parties to ensure payments to suppliers are not unnecessarily delayed or outside contractual agreements that exist.
