2ND LINE IT SUPPORT ENGINEER - CONTRACT - BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE
Diagnosing and solving hardware and software incidents, including:
o Resolving Incidents, Problems issues and Changes on a variety of Operating Systems, across a wide range of software applications and hardware (laptops, desktops, iPhones and iPads, printers).
o Installing and configuring new and existing IT services and software including the upgrade of legacy equipment and products.
o Troubleshooting basic network issues
o Recording, updating and documenting incidents and requests
o Administering user and admin accounts in Active Directory
o Mail box and distribution group administration
o Database administration and user support
o Supporting remote and home workers through VPN and remote desktop.
Prefered candidates will have worked in the financial sector previously
