The project requires records to be kept in order to justify payment. This role is integral to ensuring that those records are robust and reliable and that proper management intervention is taken when required. This will support the proper recovery of entitlement for the Contractor through the application process and minimise risks.
The role will require the understanding of the contractual relationship with the Employer and the ability to apply this to the working context.
The role will require monitoring and reconciliation of data and the use of curiosity and imagination to find anomalies. Findings will be required to be interpreted and summarised to assist management actions that will improve outcomes.
Rules of record capture and procedures will be developed by this role and personal interaction with those that generate the records will be required to assist understanding of those rules.
Management of system administrator will also be the responsibility of this role.
Qualifications and Comments
Experience in the keeping of records for people and time or
Experience in the commercial management of projects.
Ability to test and validate data
Ability to self-direct investigations to improve data
Ability to produce useful summaries to managers to assist decision making and interventions
Ability to drive improvement through procedures and training of individuals
Preference for person with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Advantageous if previous experience working with NEC3 cost reimbursable contracts.
Advantageous if previous experience of working for a contractor or consultant in construction.
Continuance in the role requires candidate to achieve the Sellafield Baseline Personnel Security Standard as a minimum.
