Oracle - Consultant - ERP Application Specialist - Finance modules - Oracle Projects. My client is looking for an Oracle Consultant on a 9 to 12 month contract. This will initially be based from home during Covid19 but once it is safe to do so candidates will be expected to visit the Glasgow site as and when required. Experienced Oracle implementation consultant who has experience of EBS R12.2.x Finance modules i.e. GL, AP, AR, FA, CE Oracle Projects: i.e. Contracts (OKE), Billing (PJB), Costing (PJC) The role will require experience and capability in standard lifecycle activities - requirement mapping, gap analysis, conference room pilots, UAT and all the other disciplines required for implementation. Furthermore the role will include all other aspects of functional consulting, i.e. bespoke projects, customisations, upgrades, system and business process advice and guidance.

This role is for an AX technical specialist within the Business Enterprise Applications team. You'll have the chance to make a real impact on your immediate stakeholders and wider business around you. With the system fully implemented but not being used as optimally as it could, you'll need to be someone who can really engage with and communicate to non-technical staff. You'll be working with partners and internal customers to troubleshoot applications and software as well as design and deliver in-house software improvements and training. Responsible for the provision of technical specialist knowledge and support to assigned business areas; working with partners and customers to conduct root cause analysis, evaluate and generate ideas, design solutions for improvement and contribute to effective implementation plans. You'll need an in-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including AX 2012 - HR / Financials / Production / Manufacturing / Supply Chain / Engineering Asset Management / Quality.
