Working within a Technical Design Authority, providing guidance to projects and programmes and helping them deliver designs that conform to the defined data architecture elements Experience in the following data elements, data modelling, data governance, data profiling, BI & analytics capabilities, data security & protection, streaming & APIS, cloud data storage & data lakes, AI & machine learning, data warehousing, data integration Leveraging the use of industry recognised standards to support ICT frameworks, such as TOGAF, ITIL and COBIT to provide common understanding amongst key stakeholders of supporting architectural concepts and their impacts Participating in the definition of data strategy, principles, standards and guidelines, and their establishment within the organisation

Systems Software Engineer - Scrum and Test Lead Southampton - 12 month contract - Pay rate £420 p/d We have a short term vacancy for a System Engineer / Software Engineer to work on a Traffic Control Systems project I our clients Southampton facility. You'll join the team as a Scrum and Test Lead for a development project that is migration an existing application to a new platform. Key Responsibility Areas You will be working within a small team following an Agile development process. Development is predominantly undertaken in Java and covers front end and back end, and the use of Oracle BPM. You will work with the project management team to oversee the planning for the scrum activities and the management of the associated tasks. Whilst you will be expected to undertake some development it is anticipated the role will include mentoring and directing the development team in some aspects of scrum and testing. Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required Proven ability with the following skills/technologies: C++/Java UML Test Management (Unit, Integration) Use of Coding Standards, and Automated Test Tools. Security Architect Location: Frimley Duration: 12 Months Rate: £70.32 per hour (37 hour week) Our Frimley based client have an opportunity for a Security Architect (Product Security) X2 to join the team on an initial 12 month contract basis. The Security Architect will be able to apply their expert subject matter expertise and experience to programmes and systems to ensure that the business and customer security requirements are identified, implemented and met for information system architectures and solutions being delivered by the programmes. They will be able to support the appropriate Delegated Technical Authority (dTA) and/or Design Authority (DA) to ensure the delivered solutions meet the specified contractual and regulatory requirements and can be operated securely, correctly and safely. The Security Architect consultant engineer will have a deep understanding of the applicable regulations, standards, policies and guidance on cyber security and information assurance, to ensure conformance and be able to mitigate information risks and balance them against the cost of countermeasures. They will be able to work and speak knowledgeably and credibly with customer, user and internal stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on information risk management matters. The Security Architect consultant engineer will have a good knowledge of the cyber security and information assurance marketplace, including products, suppliers and key threats, and will also have an understanding of the direction of potential future technologies. The Individual Expert level of knowledge of Cyber Security/Information Assurance activities in the defence, maritime or closely linked domain and have a comprehensive understanding of the impact of information risk management activities on system architectures and the development of risk mitigations * Knowledge of the complete engineering lifecycle with some experience of operating in most phases. * Have a strong awareness of Product Safety and SHE. * Good communication skills and ability to interact with and manage stakeholders. * Provides technical leadership, coaches and mentors others.
