Morson shortlisted in Global Recruiter Industry Awards.
The tenth annual awards will be presented in London in June.
Morson has been shortlisted in the Global Recruiter Industry Awards in the category of Large Recruitment Business of the Year.
Celebrating their tenth anniversary in 2019, the Global Recruiter Industry Awards have an unprecedented reputation in the industry for recognising the best and the brightest.
Our submission highlighted client diversification to allow us to maintain growth despite budget cuts in our core sectors of nuclear, defence and aerospace and the challenges posed by Brexit. This generated several large client wins in construction, professional services and IT.
It also highlighted our cost saving work with Manchester Airport Group, with whom we recently signed a three-year contract extension. Significantly, the submission highlighted how we use our size, position and strength to challenge status quos, with ED&I embedded into our DNA with a programme that seeks to attract recruits from underrepresented groups into the industries that we work in that suffer from the greatest levels of inequality. Working with groups like the Girls' Network to promote and develop female interest in engineering and apprenticeships a well as appointing our first ever diversity ambassador in Northern Power Women CEO Simone Roche has been integral to this.
Morson celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2019 and a series of celebratory events have been taking place to mark this milestone. The centrepiece will be a party for all employees in July, bringing together past and present employees of the business to celebrate our success together.
We will be up against NES Global, La Fosse Associates, PMP Recruitment and Talent for the award. The ceremony will take place at Café de Paris in London on 20th June 2019.
