Health Physics / Radiation Protection Consultant / AdvisorHealth Physics / Radiation Protection Consultant / Advisor - Preston - 12 Months +Job Purpose Provision of radiological protection advice to the business to ensure compliance with the ionising radiation regulations in respect to ongoing and proposed future operations. Evaluation of operational activities and the undertaking of radiological risk assessments as well as providing guidance on implementation of safety arrangements and controls. Responsible for the day to day activities of radiological support to operations, capturing a range of assurance activities of plant inspections and audits along with the monitoring and trending of plant performance data, authoring and revision of radiological procedures and oversight of dosimetry arrangements.
