Bringing Women Back Into the Workplace at ReConnect Manchester

Rebekah Valero-Lee diversity

Last week, Morson International exhibited at Vodafone’s ReConnect Manchester event which aimed to bring talented women back into the workplace after a career break.

The event offered an exhibitors fair, workshops, panel discussions and networking – which all attendee’s found highly beneficial. The event positively promoted that there is support out there for women who may lack knowledge about flexible working options or lack the confidence which would allow them to return to employment.

Louise Ellis, Morson’s Recruitment Manager for Professional Services commented on the event:

“I found the event really useful and informative for women who have been out of work as it allows them to speak to businesses directly on how their application would be considered, what kind of roles are be available and gave reassurance that part-time working is strongly considered.

The main objective was to instill confidence in women who are looking for reassurance about getting back into the workplace.”

Here at Morson the ethos of doing the small things right to make the big things happen is encouraged. We are a company that is driven by our people, our strong family values and integrity. Therefore, we pride ourselves on our flexible approach and support network, to help our female employee’s get back into the workplace after a career break.
