Morson are delighted to accomplish Beacon status for safety on the London Underground. The award was presented by John Lambert, head of track programme for Transport for London, at Waterloo.

In order to attain the award, Morson had to demonstrate to TfL that we manage and work our site to the highest HS&E standards.

Graham Timbers, rail operations director at Morson’s London division, said “In the process of [this demonstration] we continuously improved our processes until our site become undoubtedly a Beacon for all others to strive towards. I feel immensely proud of the whole team in achieving this. It is a testament to their hard work and diligence in a very difficult working environment.

Gareth Morris, associate director for HSQE at Morson, said “this award is truly a great achievement. It is testament to the excellent work of this gang of individual trackworkers and the staff at Morson who support their wonderful efforts to work safe and go home safe every working day.”
