Morson are proud to donate £500,000 to help create a new manufacturing and engineering hub at the University of Salford – the largest donation received by the institution.

The money will support the construction of a £16m Engineering Showcase and ‘Morson Maker-Space’ at the Peel Park Campus.

Group CEO Ged Mason said the role of universities was critical in “helping to build the future higher skills pipeline in engineering”.

“We have several key engineering projects in the North West, not least HS2, and it’s critical that we work to bridge any skills gaps by attracting the best new talent. This is a fantastic new facility at Salford University that we’re proud to support.”
