Morson International are delighted to be nominated in three separate categories in this year’s shortlist for the Recruiter Investing in Talent Awards, including a nomination for the Best Engineering Company to Work For.

In addition to this, two members of the team are shortlisted for individual awards.

Samantha Draper, business support manager, received a nomination for Most Inspiring Support Professional, while operations director Adrian Adair was shortlisted for Most Inspiring Senior Manager/Director.

Sam, who worked as a bid manager before taking up her current role of business support manager, was nominated for her positive and approachable persona. She was praised for her diligent approach to achieving the best possible outcome in each task she undertakes and her commitment to going the extra mile to help colleagues.

Sam commented: “Morson is a great place to work – it’s dynamic, fast paced and full of brilliant colleagues. For each task I undertake I want it to be the best version of what I can produce and a key part of that is working well with others within Morson.

“Getting shortlisted for the Most Inspirational Support award is a true privilege. I’m glad that during my shortlisting interview I was able to translate to the judges – all four of them – my enthusiasm for my job and for Morson.”

Adrian was shortlisted for his enthusiasm and commitment to being at the cutting edge of industry innovation in order to drive growth throughout the company.

He sees the nominations as a great reflection on the larger business strategy at Morson. “I’m really thrilled and excited to have been nominated by my colleagues. At Morson we work very hard on having a productive and inspiring culture that really aims to get the best out of people, with people being at the centre of what we do.

“To see that recognised is fantastic, particularly as we’ve been put forward as the Best Company to Work For. It shows that our people understand our strategy and its successes.”

The nominations are judged by a panel of global industry experts. The winners of each award will be announced in a luncheon event at the Brewery in London on Wednesday 5th October.
