Morson Group’s marketing manager Orlagh Bibby has been shortlisted for Marketer of the Year at the 2016 CIM Marketing Excellence Awards.

The CIM (The Chartered Institute of Marketing) Marketing Excellence Awards are an annual event created to highlight, celebrate and promote excellence of individuals, teams and agencies within the field. The Awards are open to any organisation within the UK regardless of size, sector or industry.

Orlagh was nominated for Marketer of the Year for her efforts in bringing Transformational Change to Morson.

Since joining Morson in 2012, Orlagh has worked hard to create an in-house marketing team, reposition the Morson brand in the market, and create sustainable approaches to customer engagement, as well as change the culture and attitude towards marketing internally.

In addition to delivering the Transformational Change project, Orlagh was also studying for a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, which she successfully completed in September last year.

Speaking about her shortlisting, Orlagh said: “I am delighted to be shortlisted for Marketer of the Year. It’s incredibly rewarding to be recognised for working hard. I would love to win, especially for my team; their support has been invaluable in delivering this project.”
