The Recruitment International Awards celebrate the successes and hard work of all the major players across the recruitment industry. This year’s awards were held at the Shakespeare Globe in London. Over 350 directors and owners of recruitment companies listed within the Recruitment International Top 500 Report attended the ceremony, where they were met with a unique theatrical setting and the chance to celebrate with a vast number of well-known and celebrated figures in the industry.

This year Morson Group CEO, Ged Mason was in attendance to see his father, the late Gerry Mason, Morson Group founder, inducted into the Hall of Fame. Gerry founded Morson in 1969, setting the standard for the industry, creating an inclusive and familial environment for his staff, but also appreciating and giving back to the local community.  His faith gave him great strength and enhanced his natural determination to help others, which in turn encouraged the Company to follow these principles.

He ensured that integrity, quality and hard work are ingrained in the Company’s culture.  His drive and desire for Morson to be the best, through hard work and commitment to excellence, was matched by his sense of fun and its value in business.

Today Morson is still governed by the strong principles and standards he set for us, leaving behind a legacy of a solid, thriving and very successful, industry leading business. It is a common objective within the Company to retain and carry forward his principles, ethics and ambition.
