June’s Report on Jobs, which is published jointly each month by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG, reported a further strong rise in permanent placements this year. The rate of expansion remained substantial, despite easing slightly since April. The Midlands registered the strongest growth in May, whilst the slowest was indicated in London. At Morson we experienced a 54% rise in permanent placements from Q1 to Q2. Permanent Recruitment Director, Damian Ainge, said: “It’s encouraging to see that the permanent placement market continues to experience growth nationwide. This is mirrored at Morson Group, where we have recorded a significant increase from Q1 to Q2 in the number of permanent placements made.”
