Morson Account Manager, Mark Craft, has been awarded a commendation for his work, recognised in the Recruiter/HR Person of the Year category at this year’s RailStaff Awards.
Mark received his runner-up commendation at a glittering gala dinner, attended by over 700 of the UK’s rail industry key companies. Also shortlisted for an award in this category was Amanda Gleaves, Morson’s Account Manager in the Manchester rail division.
Of his commendation, Mark said: “I was honoured to be invited to the RailStaff Awards to represent Morson and meet key players from the UK rail industry. I was proud to be considered for the category of Recruiter/HR Person of the Year, especially as we work incredibly hard to be part of a challenging industry.
“It was a great surprise to be handed the runner-up spot, and I would like to congratulate the winners – the strategic sourcing team at Transport for London – whose work we respect immensely.
“I am proud to represent Morson, and it was truly an honour to be recognised at the RailStaff Awards – to gain recognition amongst my peers is a wonderful feeling.”
Mark was shortlisted for the award for his work with client Network Rail, increasing the quantity of placements with the client and the percentage of vacancies filled.
Ged Mason, CEO of Morson Group, commented: “I’m delighted that Mark has received the recognition that he deserves from such a leading industry body as RailStaff.
“It confirms that as market leader we have excellent long-term managers dedicated to supplying talent to many leading rail organisations in an innovative way.”
Congratulations to all those recognised at the annual RailStaff Awards!
