Morson’s London to Paris cycle team returned from their fundraising adventure victorious after completing the cross-Channel challenge successfully.
The team covered over 250 miles of UK and French terrain, starting their ride from Morson’s London office in Southwark. Whilst the 11 cyclists escaped injury-free – despite seven toppling off their bikes on the journey – the bikes did not fare quite so well, notching up an impressive 14 punctures along the way!
Morson’s London to Paris bike ride was in aid of The David Lewis Centre and The Factory Youth Zone – two charities that Morson is supporting over the course of 2013.
The bike ride was completed within the three-day time frame, and all 11 cyclists reached the Arc de Triomphe in Paris safely.
Ged Mason, CEO of Morson, said: “It was a tough challenge to take on over three days – we were up against the wind and rain, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“I would like to thank, on behalf of all the riders, the many colleagues and friends who have donated to our worthy charities, and given their kind words of support. The money raised will benefit our charities enormously.”
