Manchester United veteran, Bryan Robson, is set to tackle one of the world’s most challenging treks in October, as he takes on Mount Kilimanjaro for the Manchester United Foundation charity.

Bryan will climb the mountain with old team mate, Kevin Moran, as part of a larger Manchester United Foundation group. The group hopes to raise an incredible £75,000 for that charity, which will go towards supporting young people in some of the most disadvantaged areas in the UK.

Kilimanjaro is the world’s tallest freestanding mountain, located in Tanzania, and is defined as a stratovolcano as it is composed of three distinct volcanic cones including Kibo – its highest peak – which is currently dormant.

An amazing £60,000 has already been raised for the event. To find out more about Bryan and his team’s tough fundraising challenge, and to donate to the Manchester United foundation, please visit: www.justgiving.com/robsonfamily
