Morson International are celebrating following the news that two of their contractors have been rewarded in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Jason Fudgell and Samuel Richard Templeman (both Technical Works Supervisors) have been awarded MBEs for services to the British Embassies in Baghdad and Basra respectively.

MBE stands for Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and is part of the British Order of Chivalry.

The honours were originally created by King George V in order to fill gaps in the British honours system as he wished to honour the many thousands of people who served in numerous non-combatant capacities during the First World War.

Both Jason and Sam are currently employed under the Technical Works Foreign and Commonwealth Office contract which Morson has held since 1999.

Carl Pollitt, Account Manager for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office contract said;

"This is fantastic news and something which I, and everyone at Morson are extremely proud of. We have been working with Sam and Jason for a number of years and both have worked extremely hard at the British Embassies in Iraq."
