National and regional electricity companies and major industrial consumers are embarking on major refurbishment projects to replace aged primary plant, protection and control systems.

Morson Projects has experience of Design Engineering, Installation and Commissioning of both primary and secondary electrical systems including switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers and protection. Particular capabilities include: In-house design and engineering / CAD team working on new build and interface engineering projects; Switchgear and control panel design, procurement and build; Installation and testing capabilities, with a proven track record of new build, integration of new and existing switchgear, protection refurbishments, SF6 handling and testing, fully structured and phased site-work packages, TP141 commissioning engineers; Post-installation services including full commissioning of transformers and substation protection, site demobilisation, service and support.

Site services cover the Installation and Commissioning of transformers, switchgear and protection relay panels for transmission and distribution power systems up to 400kV including gas insulated and open terminal equipment.

Commissioning of Multifunctional IED Relays is carried out utilising the latest computer controlled 3 phase test sets to digitally generate high accuracy test signals.
